Fayngo collects as little data as possible, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The website uses no advertising cookies, no audience-measurement tools and no third-party trackers.

The forms include an invisible anti-spam field, used only to filter out automated submissions.
3. Data stored on your device
Your favorites and your latest itinerary are saved only in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). They are never sent to Fayngo. You can delete them at any time from the Favorites page or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. This storage is strictly necessary for the features you use; it is not used for advertising or audience measurement.
4. Providers and recipients
Your data is never sold or rented. The website currently contains no advertising, no affiliate links, no paid bookings and no sale of services: no data is shared with commercial partners.
- Technical hosting — Netlify, Inc. (United States): stores and serves the website’s pages, with the related technical logs.
- Form collection — Netlify Forms, a Netlify, Inc. service: receives and stores contact messages and newsletter sign-ups. Only the publisher has access. Netlify privacy policy.
- Maps — OpenStreetMap Foundation (United Kingdom): provides map tiles. OSMF privacy policy.
No newsletter or email-sending provider has been chosen yet, and no newsletter is being sent at this time. Before any first mailing, this policy will be updated to name the tool used.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Netlify processes data in the United States. Netlify states that these transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Map tiles are served by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, based in the United Kingdom.
6. Retention periods
- Contact messages: 12 months after the last exchange, then deleted.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Addresses with no interaction for 3 years are deleted.
- Technical logs: period set by the hosting provider Netlify for service security.
- Favorites and itinerary: on your device, until you delete them.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights or unsubscribe from the newsletter, write to contact@fayngo.com. You will receive a reply within one month at most.

8. Security
The website is served over HTTPS only. Access to received messages is restricted to the publisher. The website never asks for a password.
9. Children
The website is not specifically aimed at children. In Belgium, a person under 13 may only subscribe to the newsletter with the consent of their legal representative.
10. Changes
This policy will be updated in particular when a newsletter or email-sending tool is chosen, when Fayngo is registered as a business, or when partners are added. The update date is shown at the top of the page.
